Hydration: Choosing Drinks Based On Your Goals

Wow, you have learned a Lot during our hydration journey!

You learned about the categories “drink more”, “drink some”, “drink less”.

You learned about various drinks including plain water, sweetened beverages, carbonated beverages, tea & coffee, dairy & plant milks, recovery & performance drinks, alcohol.

You learned the “drink more”, “drink some”, and “drink less” in each of those categories.

Today is the beginning of talking about choosing drinks based on your goals.

The amounts you drink from each section of “drink less”, “drink some”, “drink more”, will depend on what you drink now, and what your goals are.

Aim to get a little bit better; you don’t have to do a complete overhaul.

As talked about in previous episodes, doing a complete overhaul (or January at the gym) is unsustainable and not fun.

It is better to make small sustainable steps in the direction you want to go to better achieve your goals over time.

In future episodes I will talk about more exact proportions and descriptions of what you may be hoping to accomplish by using those proportions in each of the “drink more”, “drink some”, and “drink less” categories.
